WHAT: Save The Tacos Contest! For a limited time, 12 participating restaurants have created and added a specialty taco to their menu to compete for the title of ‘Arlington’s Favorite Taco’.

DETAILS: What is #SaveTheTacos? According to U.S. Travel Association, almost a billion hours of unused vacation time are wasted each year - that’s concerts unheard, memories unmade, and tacos never savored. The Arlington CVB is on a mission to #SaveTheTacos by reminding people to use their well-deserved PTO time and enjoy all the tacos that would otherwise go uneaten. Who has Arlington’s Favorite Taco? For a limited time, Arlington restaurants are throwing down the gauntlet and competing to be crowned Arlington’s Favorite Taco! This is no small task and that’s where the public comes in to #SaveTheTacos*!
We are looking for out-of-the-box-unconventional-taco connoisseur tastebuds to decide who the title should be bestowed to.

From August 20 through September 30:
- Visit 6 of the participating restaurants and be entered to win a $50 VISA gift card.
- But a REAL taco connoisseur doesn’t half-taco anything. Visit all 12 participating restaurants and receive a taco prize pack (*$12 value), PLUS be entered to win an ultimate weekend in Arlington!

The winning taco will be chosen and announced on social October 2, 2022, and we’ll officially bestow the title of Arlington’s Favorite Taco AND be treating the first 50 customers to a taco at the winning location on October 4th, National Taco Day.
