ARLINGTON CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU NAMES NEW DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL ACCOUNTS AND DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

ARLINGTON, TX  — The Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau announced Ellen Brown as the Director of National Accounts and Ryan Callison as Director of Marketing. These two new additions are reflective of the commitment to build and maintain a strong and dynamic team to achieve the bureau’s next series of goals for tourism and conventions in Arlington.

Brown has been in tourism for 20 years, most recently having worked with Hanley Wood Exhibitions. Prior to that, she spent a total of eight years in the Convention & Visitors Bureau industry.

“I grew up in Arlington so it’s good to be back,” Brown said. “There are tons of exciting things on the horizon for this city and the bureau so I’m happy to be part of the Arlington CVB.”

Also announced was Ryan Callison as the new Director of Marketing. Callison was most recently with the Lubbock Convention & Visitors Bureau as the Interactive Marketing Coordinator before stepping into his new role.

"From day one the people of Arlington have welcomed me and made me feel right at home, and being a West Texas native that means a lot to me. I love this area and Arlington has a great story to tell. I'm excited to be a part of it,” Callison said.

“Along with growing the existing team, we have added talent from outside the bureau,” said Jay Burress, President & CEO of the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Each of them plays an important role in leading the bureau into the future.”
