The Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to announce the unveiling of its new website at www.arlington.org . The website now features an animated version of the FUN CENTRAL branding, complete with the crack of a baseball bat, roar of the crowd, roller coaster screams and splashing water. Designed by USDM, the website also features online packaging to visitors and online convention booking capabilities.
Funtastic Getaways include a two-day Six Flags Over Texas Family Fun package which includes a two-night stay in one of the Six Flags partner hotels and two-day passes or three-day passes to Texas' original theme park. With Superman™ Tower of Power opening in Spring 2003, visitors will thrill to the 315-foot tower ride that catapults riders up and down again at speeds up to 50 miles per hour. Optional Texas Rangers tickets are also available.
The Texas Rangers Grand Slam package is for die-hard baseball fans. The Texas Rangers welcome Buck Showalter as the new team manager, and league favorite Alex Rodriguez will continue to set records as 2003 promises to be an exciting year. Packages also include two-night stays in Arlington with optional add-ons to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor.
